APIFS Research Director Dr. Mark Lee Invited to Advise and Lead HKICPA Mentorship Programme Training

【Hong Kong, 2026】 — Asia Pacific Institute for Strategy (APIFS) is pleased to announce that Dr. Mark Lee, Research Director of APIFS, has been invited to serve as advisor and lead the start-of-term training session for the 2026–27 Mentorship Programme of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).

The programme, titled “The 3 Pillars for Effective Mentorship”, is designed to support both mentors and mentees in building a rewarding mentorship relationship at the beginning of the one-year mentorship cycle. The training session was held on Saturday, 28 March 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at HKICPA’s premises in Wanchai.

APIFS expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Stephen Law Cheuk-kin, President of HKICPA, for his leadership and contribution to the development of Hong Kong’s accounting profession. Under his leadership, HKICPA continues to strengthen professional standards, support talent development, and prepare the accounting industry for the future.

In an era shaped by AI disruption, digital transformation, and increasing career uncertainty, mentorship has become a critical mechanism for helping professionals navigate complexity, accelerate growth, and sustain long-term relevance. The HKICPA mentorship training will introduce a structured framework covering three key pillars: Professional Authority & Ethical Influence, Strategic & Operational Networking, and Future-Oriented Development.

Dr. Lee stated:

As Research Director of APIFS, Dr. Mark Lee has over 25 years of experience in strategy and business research. Since joining APIFS in 2013, he has led research and executive education initiatives across industries, supporting business leaders and professionals in transformation, innovation, and future capability building.

APIFS looks forward to contributing to HKICPA’s mentorship initiative and supporting the development of the next generation of accounting and business professionals in Hong Kong.
